Nando's New Veggie Options

When you think of Nando's I'm sure the first thing that comes to mind is 'Chicken' it's not the first place you'd suggest to meet up with any of your veggie friends. 


Well as this is 'national vegetarian week' it seems fitting that Nando's has launched their new vegetarian range. 

I was invited down to Nando's in Sunderland to check out what Nando's has to offer their veggie customers. 


Watermelon and feta salad. 


Gains 'n Greens. 


House salad. 

Now let's be honest, I didn't become a vegetarian to eat salad. Although they were tasty I wouldn't be ordering one.

Along with Nando's classic 'Portobello mushroom and Halloumi' which you can have as a burger, pita or wrap, Nando's have added 3 more options. 


Sweat potato & butternut with red pepper, onions and edamame beans. 


Supergreen, full of all the greens, like broccoli, edamame beans and kale. 

And finally Beanie, cheddar cheese, chickpea and sweetcorn burger with lentils, peas and pumpkin seeds. 

My sweet potato & butternut pita was delicious however next time I might a sneaky bit of halloumi. 

There are also 3 new side dishes to try out! 



So as a slight Nando's Peri peri addict, there is so many more options for veggies to try now.
