Rose & White Musk Absolu - Jo Malone London Review

My fiancé brought me a new fragrance from his work trip, (which I was delighted as my perfume selection was running low on perfume!)

It was love at first spritz, the white musk is the first note of fragrance I smelt followed by the rose, oud and amber.

Jo Malone describes the scent as, 'An English rose. Flowering in the heart of the Arabian desert. Unexpected. Mysterious. Enfolding with petal-fresh sweetness. Rich with oud and amber. Balanced on a powdery clean base of white musk. Soft and sensual. A mesmerising treasure. Brought to life in our first Cologne Absolu. A bold new innovation in scent that dives straight into the heart note of the cologne, keeping our signature freshness, while leaving a beautiful, lingering trail of scent.'

Everything about this fragrance is luxurious, with its classic Jo Malone bottle with an elegant dark red twist.

It doesn't really compare to any fragrance I own or have ever smelt. I am saving this for just special occasions as it so wonderful.

At £200 it's pretty pricey for a fragrance but it smells absolutely wonderful.
