What's On In The North East This Halloween For Adults

I'm scared of the dark so you wouldn't imagine Halloween would be my favourite time of year, but it's something I love. 

As a child we never celebrated Halloween, we'd maybe put on a bin bag and a cat mask and tell people we were cats but that's about it. My love of Halloween started a few years ago and it hasn't left. 

I've tried to aim this post towards what is on in the North East for adults, take a look if you dare. 

Scream Factory 
20th, 21st, 22nd, 25th, 26th, 27th 28th, 29th, 30th & 31st October 
The Old Nursery, Redcar 

I went along last year so if you're brave enough please read my post here. This year is a brand new route, taking a walk around the Scream Factory and you'll be confronted by all your fears in one go. Tickets are available at the door but I do recommend that book them online to guarantee you don't miss out - Scream Factory

Zomebie Run UK 
Sunday 29th October 
Witton Castle, Bishop Auckland 

The 5k run which will include obstacles and Zombies, you need to be quick enough to miss the Zombies and make it to the decontamination chamber where you will meet your safety. One that is certainly going to keep your heart rate up.  Tickets - Zombie Run UK.  

Halloween Evenings at Beamish

Horror Movies Quiz Night and Free Halloween Movie Screening
No 28 Newcastle 
30th October 

Get some friends together and go and put your spooky knowledge to the test with 5 gruesome rounds full of trivia and facts all the movie, John Carpenter's Halloween (1978). Then after the quiz you get to watch the movie. £1 per person. Table reservations made by contacting No28.

Watch the movie Halloween by fire pits with your friends while you keep your eye out for some live 'surprises'  £18 per adult, advanced booking is essential Wynyard Hall

Adult's Halloween at Crook Hall 
Crook Hall Durham
Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th October 

Crook Hall is the most haunted house in Durham, this is an evening set to be of frightening fun. Don't forget to keep an eye out for the white lady and other surprises along the way. Tickets £10 - Crook Hall 

Halloween Late Adults Only
Centre for Life Newcastle 
Friday 27th October 

Prepare for murder investigations, organ dissection demonstrations and a 4D motion ride for the annotation Dracula. Please don't forget your fancy dress. Tickets £8 - Centre for Life.

Something a little less frightening and more tastier. 

Experimental Diner at the North East Land, Sea and Air Museum 
Sunday 29th & Monday 30th October 

Experience a tasty delights from the Chef's from Peace & Loaf in Jesmond and Hinnies from Whitley bay while being surrounded by World War 2 aircraft. There will be 2 sittings for a timing to suit you. Tickets available Experimental Diner.
