Getting Your Home Ready For Christmas

On Christmas day my parents home will be full of family, neighbours, dogs and anyone else that wonder in.

That is just the way I like it, to be fair my Mam's house is always busy regardless the time of the year but Christmas just feels extra special.

On the big day itself the men tend to make their way to the man cave and the ladies get all cosy in the living.

We've added 2 smaller cushions that say 'Winter Wishes' which give a Christmassy feel to the sofa, along with 2 larger scatter Clarence cushions from Sofa Sofa

Sadly there's no tree in the living room this year. I'm getting really worried that Santa Claus might come down the chimney and think he's got the wrong house.

We do however have some Christmas decorations around. Even the Jo Malone candle has been given a Christmas make over.

As you can tell my Mam loves Jo Malone.

And of course the fire place which I think looks lovely today.

The kitchen is the real heart of the home and after the Queen's speech we'll pick up our Champagne flutes and make our way to the kitchen. (Where there is a Christmas tree)

I'm so excited for Christmas only 2 more days at work to go! My family from London arrive tomorrow, so maybe the festive drinks might start a little earlier?

Are you ready for the arrival of the big man himself?
