Glasgow was our city of choice. Chloe (New girl in toon) and Samantha (North East Family fun) jumped on the train on Friday night and made our way up further North.
We started off with a picnic.
And ended up with some birthday fizz as technically it was my birthday weekend. (Don't worry there shall be no more birthday relatedness on the blog till next September)
Glasgow is less than a 3 hour train journey from Newcastle and you know what girls are like when we get together, we chattered the whole way and the 3 hours flew by.
We were staying in the Euro Hostel which is a 5 minute walk from central station.
The staff at Euro Hostel were so friendly and we got such a warm welcome.
More than enough room for 8 people let alone just us 3.

There bar was way busier than I expected, being a good girl and all I had a glass of lemonade and we watched a little bit of rugby.
After a few drinks, we made our way back up to our hostel suite and got comfy in the lounge and had a good old girly chat.
Was such a cosy night in with left over picnic food and fizz on a Friday night. We couldn't get the tv work, however that might be down to the fact it was a smart tv and we struggled to get any form of programme.
Chloe brought along her Fujifilm Instant camera. It is so cool. I am now after one so badly!
So of course we had to get a snap of all of us.
Making our way to bed for a comfy nights sleep ready for whatever Glasgow had in store for us tomorrow.
Have you ever been to Glasgow before? I'd love to hear some recommendations.
