Sunday Lunch at Babucho - Newcastle

I have only ever been to Babucho for Sunday lunch and this is my 5th visit. So I'm a pretty big fan.

R and I went there last Sunday as we both had some errands to do in Newcastle.

Babucho is just at the bottom of Dean street so not too far away from the shops and perfect for any pre night out dinners as the bars are pretty close by.

I did book a table as there are a few time's I've been turned away as a walk in. It's better to be safe than sorry!

As it was Sunday naturally I browsed the menu with a glass of dry white.

Of course I ordered the beef. (It's the only meat I ever have with a Sunday lunch)

Usually I got for the sirloin beef which has a £3.50 supplement but I thought I'd try the slow cooked beef this trip.

In the future I don't think I'll get the sirloin again as the slow cooked beef was incredible. The roast potatoes were so crispy and the gravy is full of flavour

R ordered the lamb.

When I asked if he enjoyed it he told me he wish he had ordered the beef.

We got some veggies to share.

The carrots were so good. R and I are convinced they were cooked in orange juice. I just wish there were a few more.

A good thing about Babucho is they also have round tables! You know I love a good round table.

Maybe next time I'll go for something other than Sunday lunch?
