Well ok not every Friday but when I get a chance I like to follow my Dad's tradition.
So after searching for fish joints in Soho we came across Rex & Mariano. When I rang to book a table they didn't have to book but told to chance it and come along at half 7.
Hidden away down a side street in Soho is the chic looking restaurant.
As you walk in there are lots of sinks so your hands are clean for prime eating.
Once sat at our table we were brought an ipad where all ordering takes place and a paper menu.
The waiter explained that the menu is made to share and food really didn't take that long to come from the kitchen.
So what did we order for food?
Delicious Crab cakes. (Which were my favourite)
Drizzled in lemon.
Cooked red prawns.
Clams with white wine, chilli and parsley.
Grilled broccoli with garlic oil and pine nuts.
And ordered especially for my sister, triple cooked chips.
We rounded off the meal with a tipple of Limomcello.
If you're in the area and you're in the mood for some fresh good seafood this is the place for you.
Seafood in Soho.
The food looks delicious, I like the fact you order your food on an iPad as well, that's pretty cool!
