Laura Mercier - Oil Free Tinted Moisturiser

I'm pretty new to tinted moisturisers I've always gone for a foundation. I originally  wanted this back in July but when I went to get my colour matched at Space NK in Newcastle there was a Laura Mercier make up artist there who told me the Moisture Supreme foundation would be better.

WORST ADVISE EVER. I actually think she colour matched me with the wrong shade. I contacted Space NK but they said there was nothing they could do.  So now I won't buy a foundation without at least a sample!

I eventually did get the Tinted Moisturiser at Space NK for £34. Which may I add I love.

I have the shade in Tawny which is a perfect match for my skin. There are 15 shades so there'll be one to match up with your skin tone.

Laura has this creamy formula down to a T. Gives the skin a hint of coverage while leaving it hydrated healthy glowing skin. I prefer to apply this with either my fingers or my Real techniques buffing brush but I do find that it clogs the brush up pretty quick so for easiness using my fingers is best.

The staying power isn't great. I do find I need to touch it up at work after around 5 hours or so. (The whole having the phone to my face for half the day is enough for any kind of base to budge.) I find touch ups quite refreshing especially while I'm at work.

Am I a tinted moisturiser convert? Not completely but I am enjoying this one. I might stray towards a lighter coverage foundation next however and keep this for more of the summer months.

(Yes, on my little finger that is my scar that I got after my operation)

Available at Laura Mercier make up counters.
