The Glamour Beauty Power List 2014

I literally did my best to resist this beauty box. I went most of September and read countless blog posts on this box. Then one Wednesday at work I got an email drop in my inbox telling me that it was my last chance to get my hands on this! That marketing trick worked as I am now sat next to said box.

Ok please let me explain why I had to spend almost £20 to get this delivered.

It was the products. They were picked out by Alessandra Steinherr who is the beauty director at Glamour magazine. Alessandra you picked good.

I needed this box for exactly 5 reasons.

Reason one: Laura Mercier foundation primer. I'm not a huge fan of primer. At the moment I'm using Clarins beauty flash balm as a kind of primer. But as a long time fan of LM's Silk crème foundation I'd been lusting after this product for a long time now.

Reason two: Liz Earle cleanse & polish hot cloth cleanser. It's been over 7 years since I've used this. As I used it in my teen days I've kind gave it the stigma that it was for teenage Katie not almost mid twenties Katie. So I'm hoping I still get the same results.

Reason three: James Read sleep mask. Don't really need to say too much about this as in my description I'm a fake tan junkie.

Reason four: Bourjois volume 1 seconde mascara. I NEVER experiment with mascara in fear of being let down. So I'm looking forward to give this a flick over the lashes. But as always my Max factor flash lash effects won't be too far away.

Reason five: Philip Kingsley daily damage defence conditioning spray. Anything that is going to protect my hair I'm keen to try. I sometimes don't straighten or curl my hair for weeks within fear of damaging it.

There was also tow bonus points with this box.

1. Nude Maybelline color sensational lipstick. The fact that this has nude at the front of it makes me interested.

2. Eyeko mascara off eye make up remover wipes. I think I'll keep these for travelling.

So there you have £83.47 in a box for just £15.99. You can still get your box here. I had to pay £3.99 for delivery but I'm sure it's free now so it's even more of a bargain!

Have you tried any of these products?
