Other than visiting our fantastic Newcastle restaurant there’s plenty of adrenalin packed activities and adventures to keep you busy. Fury Events
Slap bang between Newcastle and Durham, within 2,500 acres of stunning countryside, lies Fury Events. With the unique mantra “Drive it. Shoot it. Ride it.”, it’s the ideal place to channel your inner adrenaline junkies. The set-up is seriously professional, with humongous clay pigeon shooting ranges and plenty of space for speed demons to put their foot down on the accelerator of quad bikes and rage buggies. Go Ape Tree Top Adventure
As far as action packed days go, you don’t get much more thrilling than a Go Ape Tree Top Adventure. Situated close to Matfen Hall, is award winning high ropes course is set at 30 feet above the ground, and is nestled amongst one of the UK’s finest spots of unspoilt natural beauty. Packed full of adrenaline pumping challenges, you’ll have Tarzan swings, rope ladders and a wind-in-your-face zip wire to finish. Head back to the city and carry on the adventure underground. Our drink menu is packed to the rim with refreshing drinks that are guaranteed to calm those adrenaline induced nerves.

Karting North East
This huge activity hub is a great place to let off a bit of steam during the day. The site offers archery, tomahawk throwing and a WWII themed paintball area, all under the watchful eye of professional instructors. But, the jewel in the crown of KNE is its 1,200 metre go karting circuit. Complete with four stroke petrol engines, the Sodi GT4 karts you’ll be behind the wheels of, are seriously nippy. End the day at our humble Jesmond restaurant and get ready to loosen a couple of belt buckles. Enjoy our good, old-fashioned, roll-up-your-sleeves-and get-it-all-over-your-face food.

Rooftop Tour and Play on the Pitch NUFC
It’s safe to say Newcastle is known for two things, Fat Hippos secret sauce and its love of football. A day in the Tyne can be spent enjoying both, savour a mouth-watering burger with your pals before visiting St James Park. But, don’t settle for just visiting… You and your group can climb to the very top of the 91-metre-high stadium, and enjoy a guided tour of the rooftop, as well as beholding a fantastic panoramic view of all of Newcastle. You can even play on the hallowed turf itself, with our Play on the Pitch opportunity – change in the dressing rooms, walk down the legendary tunnel and showcase your skills on the pitch.

Geordie Games
Immerse yourselves in local culture, with a trip to the Geordie Games. Located in a huge field, this It’s a Knockout meets Highland Games extravaganza will see you facing all sorts of Geordie-themed challenges. For example, On Ya Bike will see you and your mates bouncing on a bouncy castle to avoid getting slapped down by the central bike’s battering ram, and Kebab Shop Duel, where you’ll joust in an attempt to knock your opponent’s ‘head’ off.
