Mini Golf at Lane 7 - Newcastle

I think Lane 7 was actually made for me, drinks, good food and lots to do. Well now there is even more to do there. The launch of the new Mini golf has landed. I went along with the newly married couple in the Toon - Mr and Mrs New girl in Toon for a little game of golf.

Playing golf is a hidden talent of mine, I've had lessons since I was around 6 and having a father who was semi professional - you think I would have an advantage at mini golf. Leave all golf skills you may have at the door - mini golf and real golf are completely different.

In the basement at Lane 7 you will find the 9 hole 'mini' golf course. Best played with friends after a glass of wine or two!

Get your golf club and your uber cool golf ball and you're set to for your round of golf.

There is all kinds of obstacles along the way on the course, loop the loop, banks and general problems that get in the way of getting your ball in the hole. The atmosphere was incredible, lots of laughing and people cheering.

My face on this photo says quite a lot about the obstacles.

I think the caption should be "How the devil am I going to get around that pole?"

But I must have managed!

There is no need to book a slot just turn up and get going but under 18s aren't allowed in Lane 7 after 7pm.

There is actually something for everyone at Lane 7, bowling, ping pong, karaoke, pool, beer pong, the racing rig and mini golf. I can't wait to go back.
