Of course with the change of season it means Gusto's in Newcastle have launched their new seasonal menu. I went along with Chloe and Samantha to see what's new.
We started off with two favourites of mine the deli boards which are £7.95 each.
I can't tell you how much I love these starters two is enough to share between three or if you're feeling adventurous one on your own would make an incredible starter.
On to the main course. Chloe went for the pan roasted duck breast (£15.50) with buttered winter vegetables and aged balsamic and honey. Chloe's meal looked amazing and was cooked to perfection.
Samatha went for slow cooked pork belly (£14.50) with fried gnocchi, pork crackling, apple sauce with red wine jus poured over. It smelt incredible and Samatha confirmed it tasted incredible.
I am trying to eat more fish, so I went for the oven baked cod (£12.50), wrapped in Tuscan ham on a bed of spiced pepperoni lentils. I drizzled the wedge of lemon over my cod and tucked in. The ham was crispy and really nice texture against the flaky cod.
I also had a side dish of creamed spinach (£3.95) which is without a doubt my favourite side to have at Gusto.
Gusto have some fantastic offers on too if you join up to their mailing list via their website you get a smashing 25% off your food bill and don't forget the 2 for 1 cocktails from 5pm on a Sunday until Friday, so lots of reasons to get yourself down Gusto.
