I'm hooked - my sister first read the book during our holiday then gave it to me towards the end. She didn't tell me what it was about and I really didn't know.
You should never judge a book by it's cover, I usually judge a book around 4 pages in. I would have completely given up on the book if that had been the case this time. I didn't get interesting until the second chapter.
It's a thriller and a good one at that. Any spare time I've had since coming back to work I've been reading The girl on the train. I'm completely hooked.
I even went to Reily's fish shack on the Quayside for dinner on my own last Thursday just for I got a change to read a few chapters.
I've even had to put timers on my phone to remind me to go to sleep on an evening as I would just keep reading into the early hours.
If you're looking for a holiday read get The Girl on the train - I promise you it will not disappoint.
The movie based on the book will be out in October so you have plenty of time to read the book.
By the way Reily's Fishsack is on the Quayside next to the seaside.
I popped in last Thursday and had the most delicious crab on toast.
In the comments please don't leave any spoilers for people who may not of read The Girl on the Train yet. But if you have read it - what did you think?
