My Week In Training #17 - Great North Run

This week I seemed to be exhausted. No matter how much sleep I was getting on an evening I just couldn't shake off the tired feeling. But I did managed some good training runs. 

Monday 27/6

Rest day - but I did go back to see Neil at Platinum physiothery. I'm ok to run (YES).

Tuesday 28/6

Rest day - Beyoncé was playing at the Stadium of light I HAD to go.

Wednesday 29/6

5k run semi pain free. I went out with my lovely running friends on a damp afternoon. My right leg is the one that has been poorly but my left knee was slightly sore - probably due to being used more than usually. But I was so happy to be back running. Long may it last!



Thursday 30/6

Rest day. 

Friday 1/7

I managed a gruelling 6.93 miles around Durham river banks. I did have to walk a large part but I managed. 



Saturday 2/7

Rest day. 

Sunday 3/6

5k race for life. The Durham route was awful, all kinds of surfaces and extremely hilly. I did manage to run most of it though.
