Fitness Files - January

New year, new fitness files. Ok we're pretty much half way through February now, but better late than never. 



This month I've been running, running and more running with my PT with Maggie from Sound, mind and body squeezed in in between.

Best Achievement - I got 2 PBs in less than 24 hours. 


1. One mile in 9.31 minutes. 

2. Durham parkrun PB 33 minuets and 4 seconds. Those 4 dam seconds will live to haunt me. 

Healthy Recipe to Try - I absolutely love pasta and I really will never give it up, ever. I made Deliciously Ella's simple tomato and mushroom pasta. Oh my good it is such a good dish! I made a batch and ate it for lunch and dinner for 2 days straight. Defiantly one I'll give go again and so easy to make.


Top Tip - Lip balm, lip balm and more lip balm. If you're running outside you'll know how cold it is. The last thing I do before I head out for a run, after I've  laced up my trainers is smoother Elizebeth Arden 8 hour cream all over my lips. 


Total Miles Ran -  45.5mi and I had 1 week off due to a poorly groin so I'm pretty impressed.


Next month I want to try at least 1 yoga session. I've never done yoga before but it looks amazing and hopefully I'll be able to do it.
