Arbor Hotel - London

Last Saturday Mam and I make our way down to London for some Christmas shopping. We got the early bird train to London on Saturday morning.

We arrived at Arbor hotel around half 10, which was in Lancaster gate close to Hyde park. The hotel building was beautiful. Exactly the kind of house I would love to live in if I lived down South!

As our room wasn't ready we were allowed to leave our bags next to the most beautiful Christmas tree I've seen this year.

The Christmas decorations inside the hotel were a beautiful peacock theme.

Aren't the colours so pretty?

We had booked the executive suite.

We were taken straight up to our room, with a little stop on the way to show us where the complemtry snacks were kept.

My favourite shelf of course was this one.

Our room was huge. It had the most comfortable bed in and plenty of storage to hold our shopping.

Our bathroom had the usual toiletries.

With a huge shower.

And a massive mirror.

We had a little disco nap before heading to the local pub for some drinks. (We had already had a early dinner at The Burger Bar in Harrods you can see the post here).

How pretty is the Arbor at night? I absolutely love this time of year when houses are decorated.

The Mitre was just a 10 minuet walk around the corner from the Arbor.

Mam had a larger and I found some hot apple cider. (I'm addicted since my trip to The Botanist.)

As I'm always hungry I convinced Mam to share a pie platter with me.

4 pies with 2 different fillings, chicken and steak and ale.

When we got into bed there was a chocolate next to our pillow which I thought was really sweet.

I climbed into huge bed and had the best nights sleep I've had in such a long time.

Waking up on Sunday so refreshed and ready for all the shopping ahead. We made our way down stairs to breakfast.

^^^How gorgeous is this garland?

The breakfast room was down in the basement.

There was a continental breakfast on offer and we were provided with toast.

An option of a cooked breakfast was available at an extra charge.

Which prepared us for the day of shopping on busy Oxford street.

We left our bags at the hotel to pick up just before our train journey home. (We needed to get a taxi to Kings Cross as we had so much shopping.)

The Arbor was the perfect boutique hotel for our girly trip to London. You can book your stay here
