Festival Of Remembrance at The Royal Albert Hall - London

As I try and think of how to start this post I am fighting back the tears. I never planned to write about my adventure on Saturday but it is something I feel is incredibly important and something I never want to forget.

I was so lucky to get tickets to attend the Festival Of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall some where I have never been before but has been on my bucket list ever since Adele did a concert there in 2011. Never did I imagine I would get the opportunity to go to Festival of Rememberance.

I'm not going to go into too much detail about the show, if you wish to watch the Festival of Remembrance it is on BBC Iplayer.

The Royal Albert Hall really blew me away. The sheer size of it and how it stood there so grand.

When the Poppies were falling from the sky it was so powerful. It made me feel so lucky that these men and women are there to protect us.

After the show was over I did manage to get a semi photo of the dress I was wearing.

And a selfie with my Dad.

^^^I never could resist a man in uniform.

I never felt more prouder to be British when the show was over. Please today take a moment to remember the fallen, injured and everyone who works so hard within the Armed forces.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old, age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.

This post is written in loving memory of Sargent William Dunn who died in action.

God Save The Queen
