I've decided to keep a log on my blog to see how far I've come. So hopefully these fitness files will be a monthly feature.
I've always been into fitness but I slacked off a lot over the Summer and I thought September would be the perfect place to start.
When I was younger September used to always fill me with such promise. The start of the academic year, I used to pray that I would get better at reading and understanding my school work. Alas that never actually happened. My school career would be wished away for any form of sporting activity school had to offer. I was very lucky and we played up to two hours of sport a day so in the olden days I was quite fit.
What I'm proud of this month: Completing the first 2 weeks of the NHS couch to 5k. I'm also really proud of my Mam as she has been coming on the runs with me.
I've also joined a running club! I can't believe I've just admitted that but I love going and meeting up with like minded people.
Goals for next month: I really want to carry on and finish the C25K and keep attending the running club.
Lusting for in my fitness wardrobe: Now I'm getting the run of things I'm looking at buying some new running tops and I am in definite need of a head torch. I've been running in the dark quite a bit and it's pretty scary, you know my fear of the dark!!
Any injuries: No, my dodgy left knee has held up the only problem is my fatigue. I get so tired after work that is my hardest battle at the moment. I might need to borrow my sisters SAD light!
Monthly motivation: Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and keep going!!
I've been up to Glasgow this weekend, I can't wait to tell you all about it. Don't forget to head over to my instagram account to see what I'm up too. (Don't forget to enter my giveaway too).
Hope you're having a great weekend so far, Monday is just around the corner.
