Colourama Durham

Remember a few weeks ago I told you about Colourama?

Well on Saturday Colourama took place and I ended up looking like this....

Attractive, I know.

We had so much fun.

There was a fun fair there lots of food stalls and live music. A little bit like yesterdays post. But there was a 5 k walk and lot's of paint being thrown around.

When I registered myself in I bumped in to two people you know. Emily and Alfie. (Alfie didn't do the walk for 2 reasons. 1. He doesn't walk, 2. He didn't like the idea of the paint getting in his hair. So he went home after saying hello.)

We were all so nice and clean.

Before we all set off on the 5 k walk/run, we all joined in a Zumba warm up.

Nicely warmed up we made our way to the starting line. Grabbed a hand full of paint and on the count of 5 we threw it up in the air to make a pink paint bomb.

It was pretty scary when the paint covered us you couldn't see anything.

Time for the walk to begin making our way around Aykley Heads.

Every 1 k there was a paint station and paint blasters throwing paint at you.

It was so much fun.

Over 1,500 people took part and if the event is on next year I'd love to do it again.

Even this little cutie had a barking good time.

It took around an hour to complete the walk and back at the finish line Emily was there blasting people with paint, although no one was as blue as her! She was like a little smurf.

We made our way home for some chocolate cake that Emily had made.

Mam ordered us to take our clothes off outside but we still managed to get it all over the kitchen.

It took me 4 attempts to wash the paint out my hair but it was worth it.

Thank you to everyone at St Cuthbert's for putting on the event. I really enjoyed it and so did my friends.

Don't forget to like my Facebook page or you can follow me on Bloglovin' or Twitter. I'm all over social media at the moment.

Right it's currently 1:15 in the morning and I think I better get to sleep. Thank goodness it's Friday ay! Any good plans for the weekend?
