Autunm Beauty Picks

Following on from my Autumn nails picks I thought I'd do a Beauty post too.

A few days ago now I went out for dinner and I pulled something out my lipstick draw that I hadn't seen for many months. Rebel. (For none Mac lippy addicts like myself Rebel is the name of a lipstick) and then it got me thinking. What else do I actually change during these Autumn months and this is what I have come up with.

I am sorry this picture is awful. I took some gorgeous pictures last week with some of my Mamas purple flowers with a white background. When I uploaded the pictures the lighting was terrible. I was away at the weekend up in Glasgow so I missed all the precious day light. So here is some good old artificial light.

Top row from the left is, Mac plum foolery blusher, Mac haux eye shadow, Mac sable eye shadow. Second row from the left is Jo Malone wood sage & sea salt, Mac Rebel lipstick and lastly Elizabeth 8 hour cream.

Mac Sable eye shadow. This shade is a frost finish. It is a rosy/brown tone eye shadow with a kinda bronze pearl finish.

Mac Haux eye shadow. A satin finish. Again this is a rosy/brown tone but it is the perfect shade to smoke out Sable with.

Mac Plum Foolery blusher. As the name suggest it is a plum tone kind of with a rosy finish.

Mac Rebel lipstick. The most Autumn lipstick I own. A deep berry lipstick with red undertones. I love it.

Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt. I love this cologne so much that I wrote a whole post about it. You can read here.

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream. I have tubes of this all over my house/car/work. Mainly because I come out in nervous sweats when I can't get my hands on this. I mainly use this on my lips to keep them soft throughout the cold weather.

Swatches from the left Plum foolery, Sable and then Haux.

(There are the flowers in the background from the original photo. Sob.)

I seem to have a lot of Mac in my Autumn beauty picks.

Do you switch any make up picks this time of year?
